Recurring Sweets

For me, as a dessert/sweets addict, I go through phases.  Brownies for a while, then cake, and then maybe I'll try some pie or even a danish. I mean, what the heck?  Ice cream is an obvious staple, but something that keeps coming back to me is a chocolate cake.  What is so tempting and enjoyable about a chocolate cake? That is a question that I will never be able to answer, but I'm hoping that over the next few months I get to enjoy lots and lots of chocolate cake. Like this delicious flour-less chocolate cake...with raspberries. Mmmmm

I'm tired of this. I'm tired of all of it! Can't I just have my cake and eat it too?! I mean, that cake looks STINKIN DELICIOUS! ... And yet, I have this piece of stuffed french toast that is good...
but after a little while it makes my stomach ache because I've had too much french toast.  ... and yet I'm left craving chocolate cake. What is wrong with me? Can I PLEASE just make up my mind about things? I think that would be ideal. Because vacillating between these two desserts isn't only affecting me. It's affecting the people around me, and it's affecting the poor toast and cake. I guess all I can really say at the moment is that I hope there's a future with cake and a way to tell the french toast without burning it too bad...
